Julianne Hough has listed her longtime California home for $7.95 million. The dancer and actor, who currently serves as a host on Dancing with the Stars, has lived at the property for over a decade. She previously listed the dwelling for rent in March 2022, priced at $40,000 a month.
The three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom abode is perched on a private ridge landscaped by Trilling Landscape. It is located in Hollywood Hills, a neighborhood roughly 30 minutes away from Los Angeles. Hough tapped AD100 designer Jake Arnold and architect Steve Wunderlich to transform the two-story pad into a Cape Cod–inspired sanctuary. “Jake’s very first project was my home—believing in his vision before the world knew his name was one of the best decisions I ever made,” Hough tells AD.
Upon entry is the formal living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and a sculptural stone fireplace. The adjoining dining space and kitchen are outfitted with a Calacatta Viola marble island and a Lacanche range. That space offers direct access to a covered terrace with outdoor seating, a built-in barbecue, and a pizza oven.
Upstairs, the primary suite is equipped with a spa-like bath and a private balcony, which boasts panoramic views of Los Angeles. Two additional bedrooms and an office come with views of the surrounding area, outdoor access, and plenty of natural light.
The residence comes complete with a slew of luxurious amenities, including a custom bar and screening room and a gym which opens out to the backyard pool. “Designing this home was the beginning of everything for me,” Arnold tells AD. “Julianne’s trust in my vision gave me the confidence to chase a dream—and it launched my career.
