Laura W. Jenkins has a unique background, with roots in the South (Nashville) and formative years spent in the Northeast. She is an NCIDQ-certified interior designer whose design philosophy is influenced by her passion for art, history, literature, and fashion. With her highly attuned eye and knowledge of historical and contemporary context, she’s able to quickly home in on a project’s design aesthetic and capture its true spirit.Jenkins strives to make each project unique to her clients, but the common thread is her ability to mix styles with a heavy emphasis on art. She has turned her focus to residential design, but her experience includes and is nourished by a variety of projects including hospitality, corporate, and retail, resulting in multiple award-winning designs.Jenkins and team take projects from concept to construction along with full furnishings. The studio is based in Atlanta, focusing on full-home historic renovations and new-build construction. They have projects nationwide, including a historic midcentury-modern renovation outside of San Francisco, an apartment in Brooklyn, and a recently completed historic home renovation in Charleston, South Carolina.Since opening her eponymous firm, Jenkins has been nationally published with features in Architectural Digest, Southern Living, Luxe Magazine, House Beautiful, and Rue Magazine. She has also been a two-time finalist in the Southeastern Designer of the Year Awards, sponsored by ADAC and Veranda Magazine.
